I was found dumped outside and happily walked right into the arms of Felicia! I now exclusively live on Alex & Jason’s bed with my heating pad and my groundhog besties.

I was found wobbling around and immediately brought to the Pipsqueakery. While I’m not healthy, I’m also unreleasable because I’m way too curious about humans now. I love not having to forage for my own food!

My mom was rescued by the Pipsqueakery, already pregnant! I was happily born at the rescue and am very happy to spend the rest of my days frolicking with my goat family.

Can you tell we were surrendered at the height of the Barbie & Oppenheimer movie hype? We were surrendered to be raised at the Pipsqueakery because our momma didn’t want to momma anymore.

I was surrendered by my owners, along with the rest my siblings, but I was the only one to survive, so I live at the Pipsqueakery now! I am a “floor bunny” and have free reign of the house. I’m a very smart & nice girl who will grow to at least 15 pounds!

If you live at the Pipsqueakery, you have to learn to get along with others! We love that different species can develop beautiful friendships. Even a rooster & a goat!

You may not be able to tell it from my size, but I’m still just a baby, and yes, I really am a beaver! For reals. I grew up in another rescue and came to the Pipsqueakery to live because Alex really needed a beaver. And I kinda needed her.

I came to the Pipsqueakery for pretty obvious reasons… I’m something called a splay bunny! Except all 4 of my legs are splayed and go in different directions, kind of like a starfish. I may not look like I can get around the best, but right now I do just fine. I live with other mobility-impaired and neurological bunnies!

I came to the Pipsqueakery with my sister, Astrid. Even though I cannot mate in captivity, I still get really grumpy with other boy groundhogs, so I look forward to living with the whole groundhog colony after I’m altered! Until then, I enjoy yahoo-ing at every passerby to let them know I exist.

We have no toes! We lost them to frostbite & that’s how we ended up at the Pipsqueakery!

The Pipsqueakery goats are all rescue goats - of course! They enjoy spending their days grazing on our 109 acres and are very smart, never stray far and always come back for bedtime!

I was scheduled for slaughter because my old owners thought I was “aggressive.” Jokes on them because I just didn’t like them & wanted to come live at the Pipsqueakery instead!

I was the groundhog that started it all, and now I have to share my bed with 5 other bedhogs! Alex & Jason tell me I have neurological problems that includes seizures, but honestly I feel just fine. I live the good life sleeping in a king size bed, eating cookies & snuggling with Alex’s face.

No, I’m not a rabbit, or a kangaroo, I’m a patagonian cavy or “mara.” I was surrendered because my old owners had left me & my partner outside in the cold and my partner met a sad end. Thankfully I’m alive, well and have made a lot of new friends at the Pipsqueakery. My hobbies include shooting pee on Amy, stealing rat food blocks & being generally adorable.

I was rescued during “duck dumping season.” Yes, unfortunately, that’s a thing. But thankfully the Pipsqueakery rescued me and I even got to be a house duck for a while! I loved to scream at Alex for attention (that’s how I got my name), and I loved trying to murder Amy by leaving poops for her to slip on. I now happily live outside and am a proper duck duck!

I’m Bindi, the grey one, and I was surrendered with my capybara friend, but eventually made friends with Becky, the white girl. We happily live outside on 109 acres with other geese & ducks. But make no mistake, we are in charge of things at the Pipsqueakery.

I was brought to live at the Pipsqueakery because my incisors were growing out of my mouth, into my nose… ouch! Once I got them removed and the infection was gone, I decided that this wasn’t such a bad place to be. I even come out of hiding to snuggle in bed with the humans sometimes!

I came to the Pipsqueakery as a teeny tiny baby, and while they thought I would be releasable when older, I fooled them and became way too friendly! I’m now so chunky & squishy, love peanuts, getting stuck in walls and demanding attention at inconvenient times. Katie the groundhog is my protogé.

Don’t ask us our names because we don’t know them and we hate people. We were rescued from a breeding situation turned hoarding after the owner died. We all had to be rounded up outside in Virginia and now live in our own barn with indoor/outdoor access on 109 acres at the Pipsqueakery! We are happiest when nobody looks at us, talks to us or breathes around us. Just go away.

I traveled to the Pipsqueakery from another rescue because I have dental disease! I hate car rides, so everyone thought it was best if I just live with the “floor bunnies” here, have free reign of the house and access to regular vet care. I’m not at all upset about it and enjoy snuggling the other giant bunnies, tipping over food buckets and tripping people.

I had a very loving owner but I developed a very severe head tilt and they could not keep up with my vet care. I live with Amy until I am all healed up and ready to live with the rest of the neurologically challenged bunnies. I can’t wait!

I came to live at the Pipsqueakery from another rescue because I have dental disease. As you can see, my incisors just keep growing, which is cute, but not really useful. I have to get my teeth trimmed every few weeks!

Don’t ask me my name, because all I will do is scream at you. That’s my favorite pastime, screaming at my siblings. We sound like birds and love to fool people into thinking the Pipsqueakery is an aviary.

I came to the Pipsqueakery because I have mild dental disease but I’m doing okay! I’m doing extra okay because I get to live with Felicia! She lets me have the run of the house, where I terrorize the cats, grunt angrily and just generally do whatever I please.

I’m a Thanksgiving turkey! But not the eating kind, the snuggling kind. I came to the Pipsqueakery with a severe dislocation in my leg. It will never heal normally, but hopefully, I can live a good life with Amy & my turkey friend, Barb.

I was found by a local wildlife rehabilitator & brought to the Pipsqueakery to see if I was meant for the bedhog life. At first, I really didn’t think so, but after losing my leg and realizing how good I had it being carried around and hand-fed food, I decided I’ll stay.
